Necessary files for internet access via UTStarcom 6700

This morning I find myself eating breakfast at the low-tech but tasty Corner View Restaurant. As it turns out, the place is situated just between wifi hotpsots….and my laptop’s internal wifi nic can’t quite reach either of them. This would not normally be a problem, since my EVDO phone can be tethered to my laptop to provide a connection…. had I not recently wiped the hard drive.

With nothing better to do over breakfast I hunted down the necessary files via mobile browser and got everything set up…after draining about half of my battery life, of course. Lest this happen to me, or you, or anyone else in the future, here are all the pieces of the puzzle in one place for the UTStarcom PPC6700/XV6700 and Windows XP:

Hi nice post, i read your blog from time to time but i was wondering something. I also run a blog on a similar topic, but i get 1,000’s of spam comments and emails every day does that happen to you.. Any ideas to stop it? I currently have commenting disabled but i want to turn it back on.. Thanks!
